Victorian graves. Dense, mostly self seeded
tree growth - mostly ash and sycamore.
October 2006: a number of large ash trees growing adjacent to the boundary wall with Holy Souls cemetery were cut as part of the woodland management programme. Spring 2007: more more done to reduce canopy and let light in particularly along the original path curving through area which has improved access to a number of fine monuments. |
