The Anglican Chapel has been damaged
inside due to fire and vandalism but the building is sound, apart from
the bell tower which had to be removed in Dec 2004 (this will be restored).
The building has been made safe and sealed with security doors.
May 2009: Restoration work on the main fabric of the building is now complete, the bell tower has been replaced and the scaffolding is being removed. Meanwhile contractors are busy redecorating the repaired walls and plasterwork (click here for more details on our new page). May 2009: The restored bell tower with the scaffolding removed.
