Aims of the

Friends of Arnos Vale Cemetery

To oppose the removal of any graves from their present site within Arnos Vale Cemetery.

To oppose the removal of any headstones from their present site within Arnos Vale Cemetery except on the grounds of Health or Safety.

To support in any way possible the daily opening of the Cemetery gates to keep the Cemetery accessible.

To support Arnos Vale Trust by way of fundraising and labour to assist with the maintenance of the site and administrative support.

To seek an improvement in the state of the Cemetery, making it safe and accessible to all who frequent it.

To promote an appreciation and an enhancement of the Cemetery as:

  • A place of remembrance
  • A valuable urban wildlife site
  • A place of historic significance

If you live locally you may like to join in and help organise events, join regular working parties to maintain and landscape the cemetery or consider training to become a tour guide.
