Our usual events held at the Cemetery have had to be suspended while the restoration work is carried out. The cemetery is open as usual to visitors but car parking is significantly restricted. However ..... we will be taking part in ........... DOORS OPEN DAY - September 2008 We will be taking part in Doors Open Day on Saturday 13th September 2008 but due to the restoration project, there will be no parking available in the cemetery for Doors Open Day visitors. Please consider using the Park-and-Ride buses from Brislington which will stop outside the cemetery gates on the Bath Road. Wander around the cemetery, enjoy the scenery and atmosphere or for just £1 donation you can join one of our guided tours which last about an hour. No need to book in advance, tours will take place throughout the day leaving from the Bath Road Gate Lodge about every 20 minutes. Bristol & Avon Family History Society Open Day - September 2008 We will have a stand at the B&AFHS Open Day at Thornbury Leisure Centre on Saturday 27th September - click on this link for more details (entry to the event is free).
